FLOW

Get your body moving, your breath flowing, and your energy going. Each class is unique, but you can always expect a moderately-paced practice incorporating different styles of yoga flow, mobility work, restorative stretching and breathwork.  The outcome: a stronger body, calmer mind, and more balanced state of being.

what can i expect from the flow classes at unbound?

✺ infrared ceiling panels heat the room to encourage detoxification and increased range of motion - most classes range from 85-95 degrees fahrenheit

✺ a unique experience every time, teachers are given full and complete freedom to teach each class as an expression of themselves - no two classes are ever the same

  • Intentional guided breath work and meditation followed by a creative and dynamic flow. Deeply connect to the breath, center the mind and release built up tension in the body. Leave with a renewed sense of self.

  • Fiery and muscially driven like Fusion, breathing through asanas like Flow. This powerful practice is the best of both worlds. Expect to groove, smile, flow and sweat!

  • This all-level class emphasizes the powerful flow of breath while moving the body in a heated environment, empowering you to immerse into your physical and mental self. It is a “down-to-earth” class, welcoming to beginners, where students are encouraged to modify poses to create the experience they need for that moment.

fusion

A fusion of multiple yoga styles and fitness modalities combining strength, cardio and flexibility. Each class is unique and may include resistance bands, light weights and sliders for increased intensity. Musically driven movement and a total body workout guaranteed every single time. 

strength

Challenging strength training using weights, kettlebells, TRX, resistance equipment and your own body weight. This class focuses on proper form and alignment and helps facilitate the mind-body connection so you can be strong, safe, and stable.

mobility, recovery & restoration

At Unbound, we believe that the way we recover is just as important as the way we train. Restoration is essential for the body, mind and soul. We offer a variety of classes designed to nurture the parasympathetic nervous system, to bring you into your body with slow, intentional mobility and stretching. Be sure to include at least one of these classes a week to achieve balance in your practice.

  • Slow and restorative - this class connects breath to movement and helps to restore mobility and vitality. Explore full ranges of motion gently and intentionally to unlock stuck energy and release tension.

  • A gentle practice with the support of props. It restores the body’s parasympathetic nervous system function which in turn helps the body rest and heal.

  • This slow-paced style of yoga incorporating principles of traditional Eastern medicine. It features asanas that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles. This stillness softens the body and allows the postures to stimulate connective tissue, fascia, and ligaments. It also affects bone density, joint mobility, and the overall health of the internal organs.

  • Several positions are held on a yoga block for a minimum of 3 minutes each. With gravity and body weight the block is able to sink deeply into the tissue all the way to the root of your issues. Releasing adhesions and restrictions in the fascia help to increase mobility, flexibility and overall strength.
